10 Things You Should Know

  1. Mi casa es su casa or literally “My House is Your House.”  We have attempted to provide you with just about everything you will need to enjoy your stay.  Look around, make yourself at home!  We simply ask that you respect and take care of our residence.  Finally, sign our guest book!  We love to hear from you.                
  2. Electricity is very very expensive in Mexico.  Please conserve whenever possible and shut off all lights and A/C prior to leaving condo for the day. 
  3. Maids & Cleaning.
    • Cleaning Schedule: 2x/week in high season and 1x/week in low season.
    • Maids Do Not Clean Dishes.  $20 USD charge. Dish dryer in lower cabs.
    • Maids remove garbage. Additional bagged garbage should be placed in proper containers in room near elevator.
    • Maids are automatically tipped directly by owners account. 
  4. Personal Laundry.  Maids will not take your personal laundry as part of cleaning.  There are several “Lavanderia” or Laundry locations near.  One is on Olas Altas across from OXXO.  This location will charge you approximately $5 USD per tub or load of laundry.  This includes Washing, Drying and Folding your clothes in a bag.  
  5. Water Quality.  PV’s water quality is of the highest in Mexico.  However to be safe, consume bottled water. Condo 203’s kitchen “cold” water is purified for cooking, drinking or ice making.   Microdine is sold to purify vegetables.  Place fruits and vegetables purchased at the store into water with Microdine prior to consumption.    
  6. Pool & Beach.  Rinse sand off at gate; Do not hang towels or clothing on balcony rails. No dripping bathing suits are allowed in the building or in the elevator. 
  7. ATMs & Cash.  Get the best exchange rates and convenience by using the ATMs located next door to the condo.  Only use ATMs located in Banks to avoid fraud. 
  8. Check-Out:  11:00AM.  Please put the condo keys back in the plastic container marked #203. Then leave the keys in the #203 mailslot by giving them to the front desk attendant
